Following on from a recent presentation about Google Places and Local Business we decided to take a look at Google AdWords as used by Local Business.

The main thrust of the presentation is to focus on how local business' can maximise their return on their AdWords spend. This is done by scheduling ads. to only appear when the business wants and only in the locations the business wants. It goes on to discuss how to avoid wasteful and irrelevant searches. The last 2 sections discuss how to test your campaign and how you can easily produce custom reports for download or e-mail schedule.

The presentation is divided into 2 separate videos and in the first we will cover:

  • Setting up your campaign
